Oscar is an award-winning animated filmmaker and fourth year medical student from San Jose, CA. He spent his undergraduate career studying Biological Sciences with a minor in 3D Animation at the University of Southern California.
He is graduating with an MD at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and an incoming urology resident at Mt. Sinai in New York City.
Oscar is passionate about storytelling and the intersection between animation and medicine. He aims to continue creating animated films as a medium for not only scientific literacy and research, but also humanizing the often esoteric medical field and sharing stories.
